Robert Elliot’s house in Highgate cemetery designed by Eldridge Smerin
architects would be a perfect setting for a Halloween party. To have a
living room view of one of London’s most famous cemeteries must be
eerily beautiful and quite cinematic. The house is one of the finest
contemporary houses in London filled with natural light and granite,
wood, glass, exposed concrete ceilings, walls and columns being major
components. Elliot, a trained chartered surveyor and a travel
photographer, lives here alone but has family nearby; he can see his
great-grandfathers grave from his kitchen window.
