Valdir Lopes, 31, of Paraguay, was reportedly attacked by a swarm of bees. During a trip into the woods Lopes stumbled onto a hive — the bees behaving aggressively, until they attacked en masse. An ambulance was dispatched but Lopes died, succumbing to the stings. Doctors noted he was stung over five thousand times.
