This is an eastern box turtle hatchling that my granddad found. It seems
to have a cleft palate, with a portion of his bottom and top beak
missing, and only one nostril. He’s doing well and eating worms,

Infected nictitating membrane on my lovely cat, who has always
been very small and underweight. She contracted feline leukemia from our
now deceased cat, Ruby, and is more prone to disease or infections
